Job Overview: We are seeking an accomplished and strategic Engineering Manager with expertise in Water Treatment Plants to lead Client's engineering team located in Bucharest - Romania. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership, project management, and mentorship to the engineering team, ensuring the successful execution of the construction of a Water Treatment Plant. Work Location:       Bucharest - Romania Responsibilities: 1.     Project Leadership: - Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of the Water Treatment Plant engineering project, ensuring they meet quality standards, budget constraints, and deadlines. - Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, driving excellence in project delivery. 2.     Team Management: - Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing Romanian engineering team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. - Allocate resources effectively, ensuring optimal team performance and project outcomes. 3.     Technical Expertise: - Utilize in-depth knowledge of Water Treatment within the Oil & Gas industry standards, regulations, and best practices to guide engineering design and implementation. - Stay abreast of industry advancements and technological innovations, incorporating them into project strategies. 4.     Risk Management: - Identify potential risks in projects and develop mitigation plans. - Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and industry protocols. 5.     Client Collaboration: - Engage with clients to understand project requirements, provide technical expertise, and ensure client satisfaction. - Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships to foster repeat business and positive referrals.  Seeking an Engineering Manager with an in-depth experience of managing multi discipline engineers for the execution of a world-scale Ammonia Project either on Client or Contractor side. Essential duties - Awareness of Client's Project HSE requirements and compliance with all relevant policies and procedures of the Integrated Management Systems and the relevant Authorities - Awareness of client's quality requirements and compliance with all relevant policies and procedures - Actively contribute to safety walks, reporting of accidents and investigation of accidents, if any. - Support the Project Director by assisting and managing all Engineering activities - Ensure implementation of the Client's Contract requirements in area of responsibility and report any deviation to the Project Director - Ensure full implementation and adherence to the HSE Regulations and proper follow up of the HSE Procedures and Instructions in all areas of Work - Responsible for progress of all Engineering activities - Follow up EPCC Contractor and Subcontractors for all Project phases to assure the quality and safety aspects of the work and report any deviations. - Follow up EPCC Contractors/Subcontractors regarding interpretation and proper implementation of the technical content of the EPCC Contract documents - Follow up schedule and progress including detection of deviation from the EPCC Contract schedule - Support Contract Manager in technical review of Contractor's Claims and Variation Order Requests - Provide support to Interface Team related to finalizing Spare Parts quantities and review of Spare Parts for quality and adherence to EPCC Contract requirements once Spare Parts arrive on Site. - Manage all the design changes and their implementation - Verify all Project Non-Conformances, supports Contract Manager and provides recommendation in accordance with PIM procedure - Make sure that the issues raised in the NCR are resolved and documented in a satisfactory, timely and traceable manner - Identify, report and follow up risks within own area of responsibility - Responsible for providing the inputs to the monthly report Steering Committee / Board presentations and other reporting matters as per specific requests from Project Director - Shall ensure that the engineering, installation and delivery for all tie ins, are developed to ensure proper implementation on both Company and EPCC Contractor side according to the obligations and schedules stated in the EPCC Contract. - Engineering Manager shall be responsible for ensuring the supply of raw materials and utilities as per the EPCC Contract requirements. - Shall ensure Project Close Out with EPCC Contractor in line with PIM and Project Procedures - Initiate "Project Changes" affecting his function/ discipline in accordance with the Project Information Manual - Shall document and submit his Lessons Learned in accordance with relevant PIM procedure - Shall support Project Director in the review each of PT lessons learned and finalization of Lessons Learned Report Requirements: - University Degree in Chemical highly desired - 5+ years' experienced in the engineering of Fertilizers plant (Blue Ammonia, Urea - Fluent English written and spoken
