Our Client is seeking a QC Mechanical Supervisor for a Power plant located in the Bayern area in Germany: Essential duties: - Carrying out inspection/testing/commissioning activities during manufacturing/ fabrication, installation and operation. - Overall looking projects comprising designing, inspection, equipment procurement, material requirement and execution. - Review of documents (ITP, NDT, specifications, etc.) and compliance assessment in line with applicable standards and codes - Inspection of Static and Rotating Mechanical Equipment - Inspection Pumps (Performance Test, Mechanical Running Test, Vibration & Noise Test, Hydrostatic Test, NDT, etc.) - Inspection Centrifugal pumps (horizontal/vertical, both ends supported/overhanging type, single/multiple and submersible type), positive displacement pumps (reciprocating pumps, gear pumps, screw pumps and dosing pumps). - Shop Inspection of Pressure Vessels, Columns, Heat Exchangers (Shell & Tube, Fin Fan & Plate Type), Storage Tanks, Line Pipes, Reformer tubes, Valves, Pumps, Cranes / Lifting Equipments Structural Steel, Towers, RTR Pipes and Fittings, Rubber lining of pipe spools, Cement lining of Pipes, Painting and Coating including FBE Coating. - Conducting Pre-inspection meetings, finalizing of ITP and other documents.  - Receiving Inspection of Material specially for the pressure parts such as Plates, Pipes, Tubes, Dished ends, Flanges, Forgings, Gaskets etc - Compressors inspection, testing and commissioning as standard specification or client's requirements. - Instrument fittings/ pipefitting equipment: inspection of instrument equipment and fittings such as control valve, orifice plate, needle valves, coil tubing, pressure gauges (Wika, etc.), level transmitters (Rosemount, Endress+Hauser, etc.), flow transmitters, pressure regulators, flanges, reducers, tees, etc. - Material characterization, leak test, flaw or defect detection and evaluation. - Gearbox: inspection activities related to Gearbox, surface defects determination, etc. Requirements: - 5+ years experience in a similar role in a Power Plant or Oil&Gas Plant - Good knowledge of inspection of static and rotating equipment - Good knowledge of English - Good knowledge of German
