Essential duties
- Prepare detailed inspection plans following the issuance of general inspection plans
- Risk Base Inspection (RBI) and/or performing integrity checks
- Perform visual inspections on lines and equipment in accordance with the Client's guidelines and detail plans generated by RBI or Engineering
- Evaluate the state of conservation of the equipment based on the visual inspections performed and the acquisition of non-destructive testing results performed by third parties.
- Verification and approval of non-destructive testing (NDT) reports produced by Contractors of the Principal.
- Draw up an inspection report on Meridium Software for each inspection carried out, in which all the non-destructive tests carried out in the context of the inspection session examined are also included, specifying all the data necessary to update the RBI analysis.
Qualifications:
- In possession of 2nd level PnD for VT, PT, MT, RT and UT (according to UNI EN ISO 9712 last edition) valid and achieved at least 5 years.
- Knowledge of API standards 510- 570-571, the basic principles of metallurgy and refinery plant processes.
- At least 5+ years' experience gained in the role of Plant Inspector in at least 2 shutdowns of oil&gas and/or Petrochemical plant
- Proven documented experience and matured in the role of plant inspector for at least 8 years in companies in the petrochemical sector (applications without the requirements of the previous point may be accepted).
- Ability to operate on the Inspection Management module of Meridium Software desired.
- Ability to operate on AutoCAD Software for the execution of line sketches.
