We are seeking an experienced DIVING SPECIALIST to oversee the diving and subsea activities performed by subcontractors offshore SENEGAL.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for site inspection and support activity to client on diving and subsea operation projects.
- Responsible to ensure effective qualification and pre-mobilization auditing of the Diving subcontracting company, and provide field supervision of the diving activities of the subcontractor.
- Monitor the subcontractor to ensure compliance with legislation and industry best practices
- Participate in offshore risk assessment and the Management of change process
- Provide in-field short term planning input within his area of competence.
Requirements:
- Having broad experience in diving compliant with IMCA Job Category equivalent to Diving Superintendent.
- The diving Superintendent shall have deep knowledge on:
- Diving procedures and techniques
- Emergency procedures
- Physiology and Physic as they relate to diving
- Auditing Diving Equipment according IMCA D023 and D024
- First aid and CPR
