Job Overview:

We are seeking an accomplished and strategic Engineering Manager with expertise in Water Treatment Plants to lead Client's engineering team located in Bucharest - Romania.

The successful candidate will provide technical leadership, project management, and mentorship to the engineering team, ensuring the successful execution of the construction of a Water Treatment Plant.

Work Location: Bucharest - Romania

Responsibilities:

1. Project Leadership:

• Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of the Water Treatment Plant engineering project, ensuring they meet quality standards, budget constraints, and deadlines.
• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, driving excellence in project delivery.

2. Team Management:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing Romanian engineering team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Allocate resources effectively, ensuring optimal team performance and project outcomes.

3. Technical Expertise:

• Utilize in-depth knowledge of Water Treatment within the Oil & Gas industry standards, regulations, and best practices to guide engineering design and implementation.
• Stay abreast of industry advancements and technological innovations, incorporating them into project strategies.

4. Risk Management:

• Identify potential risks in projects and develop mitigation plans.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and industry protocols.

5. Client Collaboration:

• Engage with clients to understand project requirements, provide technical expertise, and ensure client satisfaction.
• Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships to foster repeat business and positive referrals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably in Mechanical, Civil, or Chemical Engineering).
• Proven experience in engineering management within the Oil & Gas industry or preferred with focus on the Water Treatment.
• Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Extensive knowledge of industry codes, standards, and regulations.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with advanced engineering software and modeling tools.
• Experience with risk assessment and mitigation strategies in Water Treatment.
• Knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in Water Treatment sector.
