Administration & Accounting Manager required for leading international infrastructure construction company.

Essential duties:

  • Pursuing the objectives of the Administration and Accounting Manager and supervising the administrative activities within his office, in accordance with the instructions received from the CFO;
  • Coordinating all administrative and accounting activities necessary for the preparation of the periodic financial reports and the annual and consolidated financial statements;
  • Ensuring that incoming invoices are correctly entered in order to guarantee their legitimacy from a contractual and fiscal point of view, as well as compliance with contractual and payment terms and conditions;
  • Ensure the correct administrative management of all subsidiaries, associates and consortiums managed, coordinating this activity with their Administration & Finance Manager;
  • Ensuring that all tax-related activities are carried out (VAT, income taxes and withholding taxes), including the preparation and submission of annual tax returns;
  • Ensuring that all balances of general accounting items are correctly and promptly provided for the preparation of reports for the period;
  • Aggregating and summarising accounting data for the preparation of the annual and consolidated financial statements, assessing their reliability and completeness, also with a view to reconciliation with the Project Control Department;
  • Participating in the preparation of the financial statements and in the definition of the estimated closing data, ensuring that the data recorded is timely and accurate;

Qualifications:

  • Chartered Accountant or Degree in Business and Economics
  • Excellent knowledge of tax and customs regulations and civil law;
  • Good knowledge of financial reporting and management regulations;
  • Familiarity with general accounting and industry software;
  • Excellent knowledge of English and preferably knowledge of other languages (French, Spanish,
  • Skills in the preparation of financial statements;
  • Ability to prepare regular reports on the economic and financial progress of the company;
  • Good knowledge of general and industry specific accounting;
  • Good knowledge of MS Office suite;
