Our client, a leading wind power operator, is seeking a Project Manager Renewable Energy with an in-depth expertise in the construction, commissioning and completion of a 60 MW Wind Farm and acting as their project Company's representative in Sweden.
Position reports to: Head of Construction Europe
Project start and duration: approx. 10/12 Months starting June 2022
Essential duties:
- Monitoring contractual obligations and all site construction, commissioning, and completion activities throughout the duration of the project.
- Ensure that all the personnel (client and subcontractors) on-site comply with safety regulations
- Has the right to stop the commencement of WORK or suspend any WORK in progress if equipment, machinery, personnel, or working conditions are deemed unsafe or not in compliance with all applicable project rules, regulations, and procedures, and HSE and quality requirements.
- Review the documentation issued by the subcontracting companies involved with the electrical, civil works, turbine supplier, transport, etc.
- Performing activities of re-forecasting and re-planning, and control of the project's capex
- Monitoring the trend of the project capex curve compared with capex baseline
- Provide the management reports (weekly and monthly)
- Review subcontractors' weekly reports
- Attend site weekly/monthly meetings with all subcontractors
Requirements
- 10+ years' experience as Project Construction Manager and having, at least, executed at least one major Wind Farm project.
- Degree in a technical discipline
- Language knowledge (written/spoken) in English and Swedish is highly desired
