Seeking 1 or 2 Lifting Advisor to be assigned to Cyprus to participate to an Offshore Drilling Campaign.

Duties and responsibilities of the Lifting Advisor
- Reports to the Logistic Manager/Lifting Technical Authority
- To provide guidance in relation to the Lifting Management System to comply with both local regulatory requirements and Client's Lifting & Hoisting Manual guidelines and ensure the adoption of safe working practices at all times with regards to lifting operations
- To provide support as required to the Lifting and HSE teams in determining the lift categorisation, planning process and the preparation of risk assessments
- To provide technical support for the selection and qualification of Lifting Operation Contractors/Sub-contractors
- To provide technical advice on matters pertaining to lifting operations deviations or non-compliances, and in relation to all lifting processes
- To act as the competence centre for the definition of guidelines and instructions for the operation and control of the lifting activities.
- To perform their duties in strict connection with the Lifting Teams and in coordination with all the other departments involved in the lifting process (e.g. HSE, Operations).
- To support the overall process, from the definition of the correct Lift Plan to the monitoring and feedback on the lifting activities.
- To provide support to the maintenance teams as necessary in the detail and execution of preventative and corrective maintenance activities on all lifting equipment
- To verify that lifting equipment is inspected and be aware of the concept of discard criteria
- To ensure all relevant lifting equipment performance, certification and condition data are recorded accurately for input into the Company's data recording system
- To define standards for and participate in the monitoring and assessment of lifting operations
- To contribute in conjunction with the HSE Department to the Site's safety effectiveness through recommending improvements in procedures and work practices. Promote a continuous improvement culture within the team
- To adhere to the Company's and Site's Health, Safety & Environment policies, procedures and standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Lifting Operations (better in the Offshore Drilling Operations) and/or Construction.
- Goog English knowledge written and spoken.
