The aims and objectives of the Workplace Competence Assessor & Training Programme Expert are to select the Candidates and impart initial training requirements to the assigned discipline operating on site to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to carry out their work according to industrial best practices of operational standard.
Evaluate the past experience and achievements of the candidate proposed by the client.
Ensure that selected candidates meets the current standard and industry's best practices.
Create a competence assessment plan based on a provided standard.
Conduct the competence assessment in line with the Job Description.
If required, prepare course material for respective courses.
Assist the company in the Assessment Program objectives by giving advices and providing classroom and onsite training, guidance and assistance as required by the Company.
Verify effectiveness of the Assessment Program through the site visits.
Work closely with each employee to ensure his/her ability to safely and to effectively operate all related equipment under his/her responsibility.
Assess their active participation in the training programme.
Provide feedback to the Company about the level of competence of the employees are not met or have been reached.
Provide records of all assessments and recommendations to the Company.
Provide trainings as per the local management with the development and implementation of any development plans that may be required to address any necessary improvement opportunities that have been identified during the assessment.
Attend meetings with other discipline's assessors
Holding a Competence Assessor Training certificate
At least 2 years' hands on experience as competence assessor and have expertise in the fields in which he/her want to assess.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Essential duties: - Assessment of knowledge and skills of Workers and Technicians involved in the maintenance of the gas pipeline (facilities: block valve stations, metering stations, compressor stations). - The assessment will be carried out remotely, by means of written questions and case studies. - The first assessment will consider basic skills like the ability to read drawings, and carry out visual inspections following specific work instructions and procedures. - In a second phase, more advanced skills will be assessed, like carry out the function test and calibration of instrumentation, carry out electrical measurement, etc. - The assessor will be required to write the assessment material (forms of questions and case studies) customized to the specific facilities. The customer work instruction and procedures are available. The assessor is required to write the final assessment report, collecting the forms filled during the assessment and the Assessor's judgement Requirements - Well organised with the proper equipment (Internet connection, PC, Printer, etc.) to work remotely from Home. - At least 5 years' experience as Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer in Operations and Maintenance Projects. - At least 3 years' experience in the assessment and training of workers and technician in the oil&gas industrie - Bsc or Master Degree in Electrical or equivalent - Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English
