About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to oversee the construction of a large-scale Photovoltaic (PV) power plant.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising all electrical and technical aspects of the project, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the installation, commissioning, and quality assurance of electrical systems for the PV plant.
- Ensure compliance with national and international electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Supervise contractors, subcontractors, and site personnel to ensure adherence to design and technical specifications.
- Coordinate with project managers, civil engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
- Conduct on-site inspections, risk assessments, and troubleshooting to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Review and approve electrical drawings, schematics, and project documentation.
- Monitor project progress and provide reports on milestones, risks, and corrective actions.
- Ensure proper testing, commissioning, and grid connection of the PV plant.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 7 to 10 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on renewable energy or large-scale power projects.
- Proven experience in solar PV plant construction, grid connections, and high-voltage systems.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, circuit diagrams, and project specifications.
- Ability to work on-site in demanding environments and travel as required.
- Fluent in French and English
