Purpose of the role:

  • Support the project services manager for the planning, scheduling and cost budgeting of upstream Projects.
  • Provide support for Project time and cost control, monitor the project progress, provide accurate project time and cost reports, verifying time and cost performance against plan, and identifying areas of potential time target and budget overrun requiring corrective action.

Essential duties

  • Project planning and control, use of project control tools.
  • Scheduling and time control, use of scheduling tools.
  • Budgeting and cost control.
  • Project work and cost progress analysis.
  • Support for preparation of project procedures on planning and control.
  • Preparation of project WBS and CBS according to cost estimates and planning.
  • Detailed scheduling of project activities and support for the budget/forecast preparation.
  • Control of contractors and project team schedules producing project progress reports.
  • Include detailed contractors schedules into the project master schedule and identify critical path activities.
  • Check physical progress, actual costs against plans and budgets, support for the estimate to complete.
  • Preparation of Project of work progress and cost Reports.
  • Plan and control of procurement and contract plans, preparation of contractual procedures/specs, support to contract administration.
  • Perform earned value analysis.

Qualifications

  • Project Cost Management.
  • Project Management Office basic and advanced.
  • Specialist software training (Primavera basic & advanced, Que$tor, Palisade @risk, Microsoft Project).
  • Engineering & Construction Management.
  • Oil & Gas surface production facilities.
  • HSE Management in eni upstream operations.
  • Project Management basic course (Total Project Management).

Main Skills and Knowledge:

Project Configuration:

  • Develop Project Schedule Baseline: Sequence activities, Estimate activity resources & durations
  • Schedule & Cost Risk Analysis Create ABS (Activities Breakdown Structure)
  • Create WBS (Work Breakdown Structure)
  • Project Budget Determination

Project Monitoring and Controlling Process:

  • Project Schedule Manage,
  • Control & Baseline update
  • Development Project Control Costs
  • Preparation of Project Performance Report (Weekly, Monthly) of the general status update, cost, economics, scheduling, authorization situation
  • Project Scope Control & Change Management

ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning System)

  • SIGEP effective use and implementation
  • Project Master Data Base management
  • Specialist software knowledge & effective use: Primavera P6, Microsoft Project

Project Portfolio Management:

  • Business Plan, 4 Years Plan and Budgets/Forecast of development projects

Additional Skills and Knowledge:

  • HSE Principles and Systems, Environmental Remediation & Water Treatment Plants & Decommissioning
  • Construction Plan and Monitoring
  • Commissioning Plan and Monitoring
  • Installation Plan and Monitoring
  • Drilling & Well Completion Activities

General terms and conditions:

Weekly working hours: 8 hours Monday to Friday and 4 hours Saturday

Work leave rotation cycle: Residential with 3 air ticket provided

Accommodation: in modern guest house provided with all facilities

Meals & Transport: provided on site at company's charge.
